THE ROLE AND THE TASKS:
We are looking for a Commercial Account in Italy who will work with some of our existing & potential clients through the full sales life cycle – meeting, building concrete proposal with help of our research team, negotiating & providing strategic recommendations and solutions.
Successful candidate will be responsible for:
»Define and execute, with the support of the Commercial Director , on the sales strategy of Sports in Italy
»Target and identify potential clients through networking, outreach, and other creative initiatives to start meaningful business conversations
»Work with Nielsen Sports’s extensive client base and new business organizations to deliver consultative solutions to the sports business
»Manage conversation to conclusion including presentation and proposal generation, contract creation and editing, and oversee briefing of our Client Service functions
»Work closely with Account Directors and Account Managers to ensure clear communication and expectation management with clients
»Manage pipeline of prospective clients and provide regular updates on communications and status on all efforts made to generate new business
Successful candidate will have:
»3 years experience within the sports landscape – broadcast, digital, media and market research
»Proven track record with measurable results
»Understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research methods and appropriate use in market is a plus
»Excellent oral and written communication skills both in Italian and English.
»Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
»A no fuss, can do attitude with a willingness to roll the sleeves up and get things done
»A results and outcome focused attitude with the ability to be self sufficient
»A focus on strategic thinking with a demonstrated ability to provide solutions to clients and to lead and influence others
