As

part of the Oracle Digital Finance and Supply Chain Organization, the Solution

Consulting team is looking for a very motivated, innovator and disruptive Solution

Consultant (Presales), focalized on Oracle ERP and Supply Chain Cloud, the new,

most innovative and most successful cloud solution launched on the market (see

recent Gartner report on ERP solution in the Cloud). His mission will be to

provide direction and specialist knowledge in applying Oracle

technology/applications to client business. Facilitation customer

product/application understanding and related business value mapping through

presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts and benchmarks; provision of

support throughout the sell; evangelization of the market, partners and sales

on the new SaaS concept and paradigm; participation and contribution to

marketing events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing presales support toApplication Sales Representatives and Partners

  • Helping the customer identifythe best solution for their business requirements

  • Make superior presentation tocustomers and prospects

  • Run extensive hands on demos onERP and Supply Chain solutions

  • Run Digital Transformation Workshop

  • Manage RFIs/RFPs answers

  • Assist the sales team in thequalification the sales opportunities

  • Becoming the internal sourcefor product information

  • Being part of InternationalVirtual Team

  • Provide assistance in thedistribution of new product information, selling tool creation, applicationworkshops and solution strategies.

  • Competition Analysis

  • Represent Oracle as a credibleexpert in the area of ERPApplications software

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Working in a relevantfunctional role within ERP or (pre-) selling application software intothis market segment.

  • A successful professional withproven experience in enterprise application software. Preferably in core ERPand/or Supply Chain.

  • Knowledge about Cloud conceptsand technology and experience in selling SaaS applications is a strongadvantage

  • Experience in launching in the marketnew products/services is also a plus

  • Your background could be frompre-sales or as a consultant.

  • High energy and passion is amust

  • An analytical thinker with aproven ability to translate complex business needs into feasible, valuablesolutions

  • Knowledgeable of sales methodologies, processes and disciplines andhave the ability to positively contribute towards sales

  • Effective at communicating withexcellent presentation skills

  • Good at building effectiverelationships with a strong customer service focus

  • Strong at planning andorganizing with a very good ability to meet project deadlines

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Principal Sales Consultant you will be responsible as the expert for formulating and leading presales technical / functional support activity to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Acts as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced Sales Consultants. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities that need creative and complex solutions. Develops productivity tools and training for other Sales Consultants. Develops and delivers outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Leads any and all aspects of the technical sales process. Advises internal and external clients on overall architect solutions.

Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. 3 years vendor (sales and marketing) experience. 7 years business experience with relevant computer applications or database/tools. Ability to implement the most advanced product features. Thorough knowledge of system and application design. In depth knowledge of competitors. Demonstrated project management skills. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, closing techniques. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ability to travel as needed. A/BS degree or equivalent, advanced degree highly desirable.
