The position reports to the Manufacturing Excellence Director Europe, has a regional scope and could be based in one of the sourcing units of European countries. The Manufacturing Excellence Manager is supposed to travel 50% of the time across the Region (particularly in CEE).


Manufacturing Excellence:

  • To manage and drive the implementation of WCM activities for losses eradication within regional manufacturing context with direct impact on Manufacturing performance KPI's

  • To build the regional master plan, providing WCM coaching for the plants, developing and managing WCM skills

  • To interact directly with SU Directors and functional experts within the business and external contacts within WCM Organization

RVS (Regional Virtual Sites) Facilitator:

To deliver the EMET (European Manufacturing Excellence Team)/Category Manufacturing growth, efficiency, flexibility, Quality, SHE (Safety, Health and Environment) and Service and cost improvement agenda through:

  • Establishing / Strengthening / consolidating Regional Virtual Sites using Knowledge Management Framework as key element

  • Common and robust strategy deployment process

  • Continuous Benchmarking within RVSs to support consistent RVSs Cluster implementation and evolution across Europe

  • Consistent WCM implementation supporting: Health Checks exercises; WCM Harmonization Methodologies and concepts within RVSs and Factories

  • Development of convergent organization and workforce skill base

  • Effective Roll out of Innovation

  • Deliver RVS KPIS reports using AMIS as key tool to input and collect information following specific methodology

  • Support RVS Leader to deploy Category Strategy inside of Make community, building a strong and consistent Work plan


For strategy deployment

  1. Development of an annual document including:

a) Guarantee Clusters and Targets / Objectives aligned with PG and Regional demands

b) Responsible for Category and benchmarking inputs to the targets & objectives

  1. Compass process facilitation for the Virtual site and for the individual sites

  2. Action plan robustness sanity check

  3. Document structuring (templates, format, issuing, etc)

For Benchmarking

  1. Benchmarking data gathering, validation, analysis and publication

  2. Report preparation

  3. 3-year improvement plan development facilitation

  4. Scorecard and progress report facilitation


  1. Establish a common methodology for implementing WCM in the Factories, providing coaching and supporting training activities

  2. Expand the "Loss Management" framework beyond Make and to define KPI's for interfaces with Make

  3. Support the Losses eradication program through the implementation of sites Kaizen programs and exploit new continuous improvement tools available in the market

  4. Maximize WCM similarities and synergies within/among the plants, developing action plans for effective knowledge and best practices transfer

  5. Drive the WCM program deployment in the region, including standard set-up, development and maintenance of the Regional Skill Base and Audit Management

  6. Development of self-assessment capabilities in each site and co-ordinate self-assessment activities

  7. Support the road map development. (management for the RVS)

  8. Develop capabilities for dealing with the priority losses of the sites in the VS community

For Skill development

  1. Workforce skill base framework development for RVSs technologies


  1. Support SHE PAR (Positive Assurance Review) and drive together Safety Program

For Quality

  1. Support Regional Quality Framework and C incident methodology and drive together Quality program

For RVSs

  1. Deliver RVS targets and guarantee Repeatable Success Models across the region


  • 4 years’ experience in general business

  • Appropriate functional/technical expertise

  • Strong WCM background is required (with strong achievement)

  • Fluency in English is essential

  • Manufacturing experience is desirable
