Description

Converse is looking for a Key Account Executive to join the Sales team in the HQ in Milan with the following responsibilities:

  • AccountManagement: Work with key account manager to effectively executethe key account plans.Accountable forall elements of account management including futures, at once and closeoutsales, in line with budgets and specific order capture deadlines. Provideaccount feedback to key stakeholders including the Key Account Manager andBusiness Planning Manager. Consistently developing market knowledge on producttrends, pricing and the competition to maximize Converse product placement andsales within the account base. Effective implementation of seasonal brandcommunication initiatives, in line with key account direction.

  • Planning: Work with Key Account Manager to developaccurate and realistic go-to-market plans, seasonal assortments, forecasts andscenario plans.Conduct monthly andseasonal business reviews with key accounts. Meet all reporting deadlines in atimely and consistent manner.

  • Communication :Establish and maintain timely, consistent and positive external andinternal relationships.Provideexceptional customer service by developing and maintaining strong relationshipswith key customer personnel at all levels of the customer’s business.Communicate daily with customer operations contacts and Key account Manager ensuringall are aware and informed of opportunities, problems, progress, and supportneeded.

  • Results: Accountable for the execution and coordination of the day today running of the account base, ensuring all budgets and deadlines are met ina timely and consistent manner.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of account management experience ideally within the Fashion / Sports or Retail industry

  • Managing account relationships at buyer level.

  • Sales experience with a strong awareness of selling dynamics

  • Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with effective presentation skills.

  • Strong communication skills - cross functional

  • Process and operational capability.

  • Strong knowledge of Converse business and products.

  • Strong Team dynamic – cross multiple functions.

  • Ability to analyze retailer sales data to identify opportunities, and act accordingly

  • Fluent in English and Italian, verbal and written

Qualifications
