Philips Lighting Demand Planning Specialist in Monza, Italy
The position is in the field Demand Planning for LED and Lamps for the Consumer channel of Italy. The successful candidate will work together with the Demand Planning Manager to put in place and support a robust S&OP process that results in accurate plans to serve customers in the Food, DIY, Electro and Lifestyle areas in an accurate and timely manner.
Perform, as a specialized Demand Planner, assignments that require consultation of specialists to get a clear view on WHAT must be delivered and that require analysis of the available planning data to decide HOW to best carry out the assignment. Identifies key issues and patterns from partial conflicting planning data.
Participate in strategic process planning, implements, and executes the process and ensures buy-in from all relevant stake-holders.
Find solutions based on theoretical insights in planning methods and experience for deviating planning situations. Work autonomously within established procedures and practices.
Draft limited improvement projects within a unit and introduces new supporting planning process activities.
Maintain communication with Finished Goods Planners and Supply, updates planning and tracking systems and ensures that stock availability adheres to customer-dictated requirements as communicated by internal clients
We are looking for:
Bachelor’s degree (or other higher education degree – polytechnic etc) in a technical subject (a plus if it’s engineering/production-related)
- 2-3 years of experience in Demand Planning
Proficiency in SAP and SAP APO DP is required
Great analytical skills and working knowledge of math/statistics
Capable in computer operation
Must have great knowledge of MS Office suite and especially Excel
Fluent in English is mandatory
A team player that has good interpersonal skills and understands what it takes to build trust relationships in a business context
Inquisitive and willing to learn to support his work and that of his team
Driven to work in a multinational environment and prove him/herself through hard work and results
