Job Summary

This assignment is located at Sigonella NAS, Italy. Employee may also support TDY deployments to various locations as required in support of RQ-4 series RPA maintenance. Oversees and coordinates the work effort of assigned subordinate maintenance personnel in support of the unit’s daily RPA maintenance operations. Supervises employees who manage and maintain an Aircraft Scheduling and Documentation (ASD) maintenance and utilization program. Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.

Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Maintains proficiency in operations of the USAF Maintenance Information System including Core Automated Maintenance System (CAMS), Centralized Engine Management System (CEMS), and other maintenance management database library programs. Maintains equipment records in library files. Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of various maintenance activities. Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections. Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.

USAF equivalent position is Aircraft Scheduling & Documentation Superintendent. Position reports to the Site Manager.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develops long range plans and establishes production schedules to meet customer requirements.

  • Directs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual utilization schedules for maintenance. Routes materials to prescribed storage locations.

  • Maintains equipment records in database library files.

  • Collects, reviews, and files documented information for planning and scheduling of RPA maintenance activities.

  • Ensures accurate documentation is maintained for aircraft engines, munitions, missiles, AGE configurations, Time Compliance Technical Orders, time change items, and special inspections.

  • Trains management staff on uses of maintenance database functions and documentation libraries.

  • Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must have Associate’s degree, or have completed relevant military and/or vocational technical school curriculum

  • Minimum of eight-plus years actual and recent aircraft Plans & Scheduling experience required

  • Must have working knowledge of basic and complex maintenance and repair

  • Must have the ability to build a team, maintain schedules, and monitor training certifications

  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English

  • Must be able to provide proof of U.S. citizenship upon hire

  • Must submit updated SF-86 within 30 days of hire start date

  • Must be eligible to gain and maintain a DoD security clearance commensurate with the assigned duties, up to and including Top Secret/SCI

  • Must be able to achieve and maintain Technical Expert Status Accreditation (TESA)

Preferred Qualifications

Current DoD Security Clearance

Application of technical knowledge of aircraft principles in determining malfunctions and skill application in restoring equipment systems and operations

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant career field

Eight years actual and recent experience in operations of the USAF MIS, including CAMS and/or CEMS

RPA operations experience

Prior experience as a Defense Contractor

Prior experience in RPA maintenance and repair
