Role Summary:

The Avio Aero Export Program Manager is a leadership role that will manage the integration of export requirements in Avio Aero business operations. This role will work closely with the ITC COE and Avio business functions to ensure all information is provided to the ITC team to enable the accurate and timely licence application and that the business operates in full compliance with any applicable laws and regulations in the International Trade Compliance field.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement processes to integrate export requirements into business processes.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all requests related to the specific license

  • Assist the Programs and Customer Support organizations to identify long-term needs for export authorizations and facilitate timely applications by license specialists.

  • Be the main interface between Avio Aero organization and the ITC CoE team

  • Work closely with ITC CoE organization in defining the licensing strategy for Avio Aero engines and components

  • Assist the business in implementing processes to meet the conditions of licenses.

  • Ensure full Program Management support with respect to Avio Aero ITC activities including audits and corrective actions implementation, internal investigations, training, policies and procedures

  • For technical data authorizations, ensure the collaboration tools utilized meet intangible export compliance standards

  • For tangible authorizations, ensure that a log of shipments (quantities and dollar values) is maintained

  • Retain Licensing records for Tangible and Intangible Exports

  • Work closely with the program managers to ensure all recording and traceability of shipments is in full compliance with Italian and other jurisdictional requirements including all financial transactions compliance Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Solid experience in Program Management or Quality

  • Prior work experience in a company manufacturing and/or handling equipment and material subject to Law 185/90

  • Familiarity with Logistics dynamics for equipment and material subject to Law 185/90

  • Knowledge of Italian laws and regulations in the licensing area

  • Proven leadership in achieving results when dealing with cross-functional teams

  • Previous experience in managing a team

  • Team player approach

  • Good communication skills and ability to interact at all levels of the organization

  • University degree

  • Able to obtain NOS qualification from the Italian government security department (in compliance with requirements stated in the DPCM Nov 6th, 2015 No. 5)

  • Fluent Italian and English

  • EU work authorization Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous experience with Italian Ministry of External Affairs and UAMA office in particular

  • Technical background

  • Experience in the Aviation Industry Locations: Italy; Rivalta di Torino
