As Engineering Application Specialist you will:
Deal with Engineering projects in a world-wide distributed team
Elaborate and map business requirements into functional and technical solutions;
Work closely with implementation teams to drive developments on both PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) & CAD,CAM,CAE (CAx) and Web-based applications
Participate on cross-functional Agile teams to deliver solutions for the Avio Aero Engineering teams.
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline is required (Master’s degree or equivalent is desirable)
Fluent Italian and English language
EU work permit
Strong prioritization and analytical skills
Must be good team member as well as to have ability working independently
Familiarity with CAx & PLM technology
Familiarity with Enterprise Business Application architectures, in particular: Application Servers & Web applications, Storage , DB Operative Systems & Cloud architecture
Agile, flexible, “can do” attitude;
Familiarity with Regular Expressions and text-engineering applications
Familiarity with programming languages such as phyton, Java, perl,
Familiarity with Big Data Architectures and Data Science Fundamentals
Modeling experience with mechanical components in NX
Familiarity with the Export Control regulation ( Italian Law 185 - 9 July 1990, European Council 428/09
