Role Summary:

The Field Service Engineer Intern will be based in a hospital, work closely with the Clinical Engineering team, and collaborate with other local strategic departments (e.g. Health Directorate, Health Physics, Acceptance etc.).

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Assure, together with Clinical Engineering, full control and management of medical equipment, maintenance and basic troubleshooting

  • Organize, under the supervision of Clinical Engineering, training activities for healthcare professionals and technicians

  • Support Clinical Engineering in managing malfunctions or breakdowns

  • Be involved in verification of critical issues, supporting Clinical Engineering during inspection and writing reports about unscheduled maintenance activities

  • Enter and research data using GE HC informatic systems, and write reports if needed in a timely manner Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related disciplines

  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite products

  • Fluent in English

  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, ability to establish good relationships with customers and staff

  • EU Work Permit Desired Characteristics:
