To strengthen our team, boost our existing business and build our future clinical offers to contribute to improve Human Health, we are looking for a Sales Channel Manager for Molecular Diagnostics (m/f) for Italy-Iberia.
Reporting directly to European Sales Manager, your key responsibilities will be:
Drive to results a team of Sales Representatives to achieve quota managing existing and growing products portfolio while securing customers satisfaction.
Manage transition of sales channels and partners.
Successfully introduce new products locally and ramp sales up.
Closely work with European Sales Manager, marketing and your team to articulate and execute a market development plan which will boost our sales and market footprint, creating new business opportunities, and/or increasing wallet shares from existing customers.
Provide accurate forecast, reporting on monthly basis and Secure customer information database.
Establish strong relationships and influence with user networks, Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), consortia, business partners in the fields of Human Genetics, Oncology and non-invasive testing.
Identify major national or European funded projects for early positioning.
Identify and approach Health Authorities and experts to discuss about regulations, products adoption and reimbursement aspects.
Provide consolidated feedback on market trends, customer's needs & constraints, competitors and present business cases.
Coach and drive Sales team and help them to build value proposition and win against competition.
Collaborate effectively with Application & support team, with marketing organization and together with the Pathology team for synergistic approach.
Partner with Genomic organisation and workflow clinical specialists to leverage our solutions to strategic accounts and implement complete Agilent Technologies solutions.
Address both Academic, Hospitals, biotech and Industrial accounts in Human Health, Clinical and Diagnostic market.
In this position you will travel up to 75% of the time and ideally, you will be located close to Milano or Roma in Italy or Barcelona, Madrid in Iberia.
Interested in joining the Diagnostic and Genomics Division of world's leading Life Sciences company and you have a successful sales track record in NGS, Molecular Dx and/or genomics market, sales management in combination with a high level of technical know-how and market knowledge, then don't hesitate to apply!
Master Degree, University Degree or PhD in life science (ideally molecular biology/genomics).
Good knowledge of Next Generation Sequencing,bioinformatics,PCR, microarrays.
at least 3 years of relevant experience (sales management), with typically 5 to 8 years in sales (consulting and assertive) on instruments reagents, software, key account management, and/or business development of genomic products and solutions.
Committed to results,natural leadership, self -sufficient, communication and interpersonal skills, effective presentation,excellent negotiator.
Experience in coaching and driving Sales people to results and management by influence.
Ability to assimilate complex information and present ideas in a simple effective way.
Fast learner and track record in sales performance with uncompromising integrity.
You successfully sold CE-IVD solutions including reagents, instruments, bioinformatics, automation in Molecular Diagnostic field and in Clinical-Research segment covering NGS, microarrays, Q-pcr, genotyping.
You have strong motivation and energy, a high priority and organization sense,adaptation to changes and willingness to learn new technologies and applications.
Prepared to travel on a regular basis (75%), willingness to prospect in assigned territory.
Have a valid driving license and eligible to work in the Italy-Iberia regions.
Proven oral and written communication skills, native from Italy or Spain, fluent in English.
